The Story: Discovering God's Big Idea

With 66 books, 1,100 chapters, and almost 32,000 verses the Bible can be intimidating. The Story is a class designed to help students understand the one all-important theme that unites the Word of God into a unique and powerful story. Course topics include biblical theology, bibliology, creation, hamartiology, soteriology, and eschatology. 

Student Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the basic components of biblical theology.
  • Comprehend basic elements of bibliology, hamartiology, soteriology, and eschatology.
  • Demonstrate the practical use of biblical theology in the context of local church ministry.
  • Analyze the central role of Jesus Christ in salvation history.
